℗ 1976
One of the best-known pop acts of the late seventies and early-mid eighties was Blondie. The group, fronted by Debbie Harry, released a plethora of eighties new wave pop hit that always charted high. The group best became known late in the seventies and remained such in the eighties, but because of the lack of hits the group scored early on, people tend to overlook the stuff the group recorded in their early days. The self-titled debut release from the band came out in 1976, and sadly, failed to make any big hits. |
