Oh my God, this cover! G-r-a-a-l is a true master of his craft, no doubt about that, DOMINIUM is the next stroke of genius that he graces us with, why does he (or she) not get more recognition out there???

Anyway, DOMINIUM is another band from the ever growing talent-pool of Poland, in their case delivering us their brand of Death Metal, interspersed with some Gothic Metal-elements, but by far not the usual combo of the two, because DOMINIUM don't go for the straight and catchy approach, no, they bring a lot of complexity into the songs.

In an almost progressive kind of way they construct at times pretty abstract song-structures, which make it pretty hard to still follow the song, sounding almost disjointed (just listen to the title track "Psycho Path Fever", which absolutely fits!). We definitely find a good amount of good melodies in the songs still, which I definitively cannot call uniform in any way, it's just that those sometimes are a little hard to find… Another element that just as definitively will split the listeners is the voice, which can be very nice and melodic in the more Gothic-parts, but in most cases comes over very, very harsh indeed, creating a stark contrast, which I do not really think is to my liking…

I rather prefer the most melodic song, "Stranger", for which also a video-clip is included, but I can recommend "Psycho Path Fever" only to those among you, who dare to venture into partly uncharted waters and do not fear to get challenged by quite some complexity!
